The New York Times newspaper was established originally in 1851 as a penny paper published in New York City. The “Times” print version of the paper continues to be one of the largest circulated newspapers in the United States. In 2006 the paper began an electronic version called the Times Reader that permitted subscribers to download the current print edition. In 2011 The New York Times introduced a digital edition that provides limited free access to articles. The first ten articles per month are free to read, however you will have to subscribe to the newspaper in order to read additional articles.
